Wrecked is a comedy show from the US channel TBS and a parody on the series Lost.
Although it’s supposedly always the same island, you can clearly see that the location of the second season differs from that of the first season and in fact, the locations are almost 15,000 km apart. According to Zach Cregger (Owen), the location for the second season had to be changed due to the Zika virus.
According to the newspaper Primera Hora, the island in the first season lies in the vicinity of the Roosevelt Roads, Ceiba, Puerto Rico. A more exact determination of the beach is however difficult, it could lie however at the northern side of the Isla Piñeros.
The location of the second season is somewhere on or near Fiji. Unfortunately, there are hardly any hints about the exact location, only a few photos from Momi and Nadi. Since both locations are located on the west side of Fiji, the location can probably be found somewhere here as well.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers cruise ship
The ship is the MV Reef Endeavour of the Australian shipping company Captain Cook Cruises. The ship was built in 1996 in Suva, Fiji. The ship originally sailed the Great Barrier Reef off the northeast coast of Australia. Today the ship operates mainly in Fiji. There are 70 cabins available for 140 passengers.
Although all ship names and references to the ship for the shoot have been removed, in the last episode of the second season a lifesaver with the ship’s name is visible. Many scenes were even shot on the ship, such as the scenes in the dining room, the cabins, the corridors, the bridge and the scenes on the decks.
