Two and a half Men

The series Two and a half Men celebrated its premiere in 2003 and ran until 2015. Everyone who knows the series will notice that there are hardly any locations worth mentioning. Charlie Harper’s house doesn’t really exist. All the indoor and the few outdoor shots were shot in the studio. Most of the scenes are set indoors. According to my research, apart from landscape scenes and the like, no scenes were shot outside the studio.

Malibu Colony Road

In the cutscenes, the houses on Malibu Colony Road in California are often to be seen. It is implied that Charlie Harper’s house is on Malibu Colony Road.

These houses are part of a gated community. Entry is only possible by invitation. Access to the beach is very restricted.

The fake wedding of Rose

The fake wedding from the eighth season takes place in a church. On closer inspection the church might seem familiar to you, because it is nowhere else than in the Warner Brothers Studios in L.A. As a filming location they might seem familiar to some from Pretty Little Liars or Gilmore Girls.

This location is on a studio area. The visit might be possible with a studio tour.
